Opis:

Poljski patriot i skladatelj Frédéric Chopin (Cornel Wilde) jedan je od najpoznatijih glazbenika iz 19. stoljeća čijoj ljubav prema zemlji i predanost svojoj legendarnoj glazbi prijeti njegova strastvena veza sa spisateljicom George Sand (Merle Oberon) i njegovim suparništvom s mentorom Josefom Elsnerom (Paul Muni). Unatoč nedostatnom zdravlju i Poljskoj potlačenosti od strane Rusa, Chopin nastavlja igrati, odlučujući dati još jednu zadivljujuću koncertnu turneju po Europi koja bi ga mogla stajati života.
