Daniel, Mark, Rico, Pitbull i Paul. Grupa prijatelja iz Istočne Njemačke odrasta ranih 90-ih. Prve godine ponovno ujedinjene Njemačke - kada se sve sukobljavalo i sve se činilo mogućim. Od dječaštva do divljih tinejdžera, predgrađa Leipziga bila su sav njihov svijet. Daniel je bio zaljubljen, Rico je bio najbolji boksač. A Starlet je bila najljepša djevojka koju su ikad upoznali. Oni se zabavljaju, izazivaju nerede, vode techno klub, bježe od neonacista, svojih roditelja i budućnosti. Oni sazrijevaju u vremenu anarhije.
