Botany Bay (1952)

Godine 1787. američki student medicine Hugh Tallant i britanski osuđenici su poslani iz Londona u Novi Južni Wales na brodu kojim zapovijeda zli kapetan Gilbert. Dok priča uključuje likove temeljene na stvarnim povijesnim ličnostima (Kapetan Gilbert i Guverner Phillips) i brod Charlotte, to je uglavnom izmišljena priča o britanskoj kolonizaciji i dolasku Prve flote koja je prevozila osuđenike na doživotni zatvor kako bi osnovala koloniju u zaljevu Botany. Put od Engleske do Australije trajao je čak 250 dana, a pristali su u zaljev Botany 1788. godine.
