Opis:

Film o osobi apokaliptičnih vizija i predviđanja totalnog uništenja i sveopćeg ludila. Mali Bavarski grad gurnut je u zagonetno i ukleto beznađe kada vlasnik gradske tvornice stakla umre, ne ostavivši za sobom tajnu formulu za posebno, rubinom obojeno staklo... Zanimljivost filma je da su svi glumci glumili pod hipnozom! Cilj je bio, po riječima Herzoga, stvoriti "atmosferu halucinacije, proročanstva i gledanja u budućnost, predviđanja događaja" i zbog toga je redatelj glumačku ekipu podvrgnuo hipnozi prije snimanja.
