I Ought to Be in Pictures (1982)

Libby (Dinah Manoff) odlazi u Los Angeles potražiti oca, filmskog scenarista. Od ukupno devetnaest ljeta, koliko ima Libby, Herbert (Walter Matthau), je u njenom životu bio prisutan samo tri. Po dolasku u L.A., Libby u očevom apartmanu upoznaje Stephanie (Ann-Margaret), kojoj će ispričati svoju životnu priču.

Broadwayski hit Neila Simona sasvim je uspješno prenesen na filmsko platno. „Libby" je dirljiva drama u kojoj glavnu ulogu tumači jedan od najvećih holivudskih glumaca, Walter Matthau, a prati ga Ann-Margaret, koja je izvrsno prenijela lik Libby, živahne i lijepe mlade djevojke koja želi ponovno uspostaviti odnos s otuđenim ocem i započeti nov život u Hollywoodu. Herbeta Rossa pamtimo kao velikog redatelja, dovoljno je spomenuti „Goodbye Mr. Chips", „My blue heaven" i „Steel magnolias".
