Opis:
Nakon gubitka pošiljke dragocjenih rakova iz svojeg uzgajališta jastoga u Maineu, udovica i majka dvoje djece Jane Osgood (Doris Day) traži naknadu štete od Harryja Fostera Malonea (Ernie Kovacs), željezničkog tajkuna čija je škrtost uzrokovala njezin gubitak. Sa svojim odvjetnikom i dugogodišnjim prijateljem Georgeom Denhamom (Jack Lemmon) Jane odlazi na sud, a porota puna suosjećanja, na Janeino iznenađenje, dodjeljuje joj trostruku naknadu.
