Opis:

Kontroverzni film se osredotoča na dogodke, ki so se zgodili 4. julija 2003 v iraškem mestu Sulaymaniyah. V prepričanju, da jih bodo obiskali Natovi zavezniki, turške posebne enote pričakajo ameriškega polkovnika Marshalla, ki nič hudega slutečim turškim zaveznikom na glavo povezne kapuce in jih odpelje na neznano lokacijo. Kmalu zatem jih sicer izpustijo, toda škoda je že povzročena, saj so turški častniki tako osramočeni, da eden izmed njih, Suleyman Aslan, stori celo samomor. Še pred tem Aslan napiše pismo prijatelju Polatu, bivšemu tajnemu agentu, ki je odločen, da bo maščeval prijateljevo smrt.
