Opis:
Drama o djevojci koju obitelj prisili da ode u samostan u 18. stoljeću u Francuskoj. Suzanne (A. Karina) se teško nosi s onim što traže od nje i veže se za nadstojnicu koja je uzme pod svoju zaštitu. U međuvremenu joj umre majka, ali i njezina zaštitnica u samostanu, na čije mjesto dođe sestra Sainte-Christine. Nova nadstojnica nema razumijevanja za Suzanneino buntovništvo i sadistički je kažnjava...
Snimljeno prema romanu poznatog francuskog filozofa Denisa Diderota. Redatelj Jacques Rivett nominiran je za Zlatnu palmu 1966.
