Pol je šesanestogodišnjak koji živi sa svojom majkom u stanu. Napustio je školu sa 13 godina i ne žuri da nađe posao, zamišlja da ?e jednog dana napraviti sjajnu karijeru kao glumac. Žudeći za ljubavlju koju njegova majka i sestra ne mogu da mu pruže, on započinje vezu sa oženjenim poslovnim čovekom koji se zove Filip i koji je 30 godina stariji od njega. Filip zadovoljava ne samo Polove emocionalne potrebe, već mu takođe pruža materijalni komfor i moralnu podršku dok on prelazi iz dečaštva u odraslo doba.
