Nakon uspeha prvog filma (La grande java (1969)), muzička petorka se vraća u svom stilu -
u vragolastoj, urnebesnoj komediji i hipi lakrdiji sa slabim zapletom.

Pet prijatelja - Jean Guya, Phila, Gerarda, Luisa i Jeana - veže zajednička strast,
želja da osnuju rok-bend. Ali prvo im je potreban novac kako bi kupili instrumente, pa kreću u potragu
za poslom. Ovo rezultira katastrofom, ali momci su ustrajni i uz pomoć prijatelja Cremea, pobeđuju
na takmičenju talenata. Ovaj obećavajući početak njihove karijere je naglo prekinut kad momke regrutuju.
I tako počinju potresne i nezaboravne muke.... za jadnog narednika Belleca.
