Opis:
For most of his life, Ignacio Carrillo traveled the villages of northern Colombia, playing traditional songs on his accordion, a legendary instrument said to have once belonged to the devil. He eventually married and settled in a small town, leaving the nomadic life behind. But after the traumatic death of his wife, he vows to never play the accursed accordion again, and embarks on one last journey to return the instrument to its rightful owner. On the way, Ignacio is followed by FermÃn, a spirited teenager determined to become his apprentice. Tired of loneliness, Ignacio accepts the young man as his pupil and together they traverse the vast Colombian terrain, discovering the musical diversity of Caribbean culture. Hardened by a life of solitude, Ignacio tries to discourage FermÃn from following in his footsteps, but destiny has different plans for them.

Harmonikaš, koji je veći deo života svirao po zabavama na jedinstvenoj, kažu đavolskoj harmonici, je našao pravu ženu i rešio da se smiri u malom kolumbijskom mestašcu. Međutim, žena mu umire, a on za to krivi hramoniku i kreće na put da je vrati učitelju i pravom vlasniku. Pridružuje mu se mladić koji želi da od njega nauči zanat, ali ga on odgovara od namere, omalovažava i na sve načine pkušava da otera od sebe. Harmonikaš na magarcu i njegov nesuđeni šegrt, putuju kroz unutrašnjost Kolumbije, srećući razne ljude, narode i običaje. Film može biti izvanredna putopisna reportaža Kolumbije, jer je prepun prikaza izvanrednih predela, od pustinja, preko pampasa, obala mora do visokih planinskih predela. Autentična, nekad vesela, nekad melanholična, muzika, razni narodi, plemena, njihovi običaji i rituali, plesovi, koloritne nošnje, upečatljivi likovi i naravi, upotpunjuju fantastičnu sliku malo poznate unutrašnjosti Kolumbije. A harmonikaš Ignacio, ne može da pobegne od svoje sudbine (harmonike sa rogovima) koliko god se trudio. Izvanredno!
