Predstavlja dio serije o snagatoru Macisteu. Njegov lik u filmu tumači američki bodibilder Mark Forest, a radnja je smještena u fiktivnu zemlju Mersabad gdje se Maciste suprotstavlja grupi naizgled nepobjedivih gladijatora unajmljenih sa ciljem da zbace kraljicu (čiji lik tumači Scilla Gabel).
