Man of La Mancha (1972)

Muzička verzija legendarne priče o Don Kihotu, u kojoj glavnu ulogu igra Oskarovac Peter O'Toole ("Lawrence of Arabia"), nastale je prema istoimenoj Broadwayskoj predstavi Dalea Wassermana.

U šesnaestom veku, Miguel de Servantes (Peter O'Toole), pesnik, pisac i povremeni glumac, zajedno sa svojim slugom, završava u zatvoru. Kako bi preživeo do suđenja i sačuvao rukopis na kojem je radio dugi niz godina, on odluči zabaviti ostale zatvorenike pričom o neobičnom putujućem vitezu.
