Marquise (1997)

Francuska u 17. stoljeću, za vladavine kralja Luja XIV. Tijekom posjeta provincijskom gradu član Moliereove glumačke družine, Gros-René, otkrije predivnu uličnu plesačicu, Marquise. Uvidjevši njezin dar, Moliere usvoji djevojku i odvede je u Versailles gdje će nastupati pred kraljem. Marquise se razočara kad uvidi da svoje plesne nastupe mora izvoditi u pauzama između činova. Njezinu ambiciju da postane velika glumica ne ostvari Moliere, nego njegov suparnik, dramatičar Racine...
