Opis:

Kriminalistički film. Građevinar Martin Roumagnac (J. Gabin) očaran je pomodnom Blanche Ferrand (M. Dietrich). Čini se da mu ona uzvraća osjećaje, ali istodobno se sastaje s bogatašem De Laubryjem (M. Herrand) čija je žena smrtno bolesna. De Laubry joj je čak ponudio brak čim mu žena umre. Kad je Martin to doznao, pao mu je mrak na oči...
