Pretty Baby (1978)

Godine 1917. u četvrti javnih kuća Storyville u New Orleansu živi prostitutka Hattie sa svojom dvanaestogodišnjom kćeri Violet u luksuznom bordelu Madame Nell, gdje i radi. Fotografa Ernesta J. Bellocqa privlače Hattie i Violet, a on je i redoviti gost javne kuće. Jednoga dana Madame Nell na dražbi ponudi Violetino djevičanstvo, a pobjednik plati cijelo bogatstvo od 400 dolara kako bi proveo noć s djevojkom. Hattie se uda za bogatoga klijenta i preseli se u Saint Louis ostavivši Violet samu u bordelu. Violet se odluči udati za Bellocqa te se preseli k njemu. To potraje sve do dana kada Hattie, koja je prevladala svoju prošlost, dođe u Bellocqovu kuću s namjerom da odvede Violet sa sobom.

Hattie, prostitutka u elegantnoj javnoj kući Madame Nell, i njena dvanaestogodišnja kćerka Violet jedine su budne
kada dođe fotograf Ernest J. Belloq sa svojim foto aparatom, te ih uslika.
