Opis:
Radnja filma događa se 2009. g. u gradu Claridgeu u Marylandu u zaljevu Chesapeake. Za vrijeme Festivala rakova stanovnike pohara bolest koja se manifestira nizom raznih simptoma. Lokalni novinar posumnja da je uzrok neka zaraza u vodi. Nitko ne zna o kojoj se bolesti radi niti kako se prenosi. Ljudi se počinju čudno ponašati, a neki i umiru. Strah prerasta u paniku. Vlada stavlja grad pod karantenu i plijeni sve snimke, kako bi prikrili incident. Ali jedan novinar, koji je bio svjedok epidemije i koji ju je uspio dokumentirati, skriva snimku u nadi da će jednoga dana istina izaći na vidjelo.
