    Za vreme II svetskog rata, Nemci su imali vrlo jake pomorske snage u francuskoj luci Bordo, kojima su snabdevali nemačku ratnu mašineriju i uspevali da probiju sve savezničke pomorske blokade. Operativni tim na čelu sa rezervnim majorom britanske mornarice, dobija zadatak da na kanuima priđu Bordou sa udaljenosti od oko 110 km od podmornice koja će ih dovesti do granice minskih polja, a zatim da uđu u luku kroz reku i postave magnetne mine na nemačke brodove. Da bi izveli ovu operaciju bile su potrebne opsežne pripreme...
