Opis:
Dobrodušni imigrant 1917. godine brodom plovi prema Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama. Među putnicima na brodu su i mlada imigrantica te njezina bolesna majka koja će ubrzo postati žrtvom pljačke. Kad imigrant kartanjem zaradi nešto novca, odluči ga spremiti u djevojčinu torbu, ni ne sluteći da će uskoro biti optužen za varanje te da će mu biti oduzet sav novac.
Nakon što mlada imigrantica stane u njegovu obranu, on će ipak po dolasku u New York pukom srećom pronaći jedan novčić te zaključiti da mu je to sasvim dovoljno da djevojku pozove u restoran. A kad dođe vrijeme plaćanja računa, shvatit će da mu je i onaj jedan novčić propao kroz šuplji džep, zbog čega će doći u sukob s glavnim konobarom.
