Opis:

Špijunski triler, adaptacija novele poznatog pisca Irvinga Wallacea. Scenarist Ernest Leheman pisao je scenarij i za kultni Hitchcockov triler Sjever Sjeverozapad tako da se mogu primjetiti neke sličnosti između ova dva filma.
Na opće čuđenje, Nobelovu nagradu za književnost dobiva mladi pisac, Andrew Craig (Newman), koji je više zainteresiran za žene i alkohol nego za pisanje. Pri dolasku u Stockholm, na njegovo oduševljenje, pridruži mu se izaslanica švedskog ministarstva Lisa Andersson (Sommer) koja će mu pomagati sa jezikom i služiti mu kao pratnja. Andrew također upoznaje genijalnog fizičara, Maxa Stratmana (Robinson), koji je došao u pratnji svoje nećakinje Emily (Baker).
No umjesto očekivanog dobrog provoda, Andrew će se naći u špijunskoj uroti svijetskih razmjera.
