Opis:


Widowed now for close to four years, Anne Osborne, who now operates the antiques shop formerly owned by her husband David, and their son, Jonathan Osborne, live in a small, English seaside town. Both Anne and Jonathan still miss David even after all these years. Going through puberty, Jonathan uses something he finds in his bedroom to explore the emerging thoughts of sexuality going through his mind. Although Anne knows Jonathan sneaks out of the house early in the morning against her orders, she is unaware that he is attending meetings of a secret society of five boys, who refer to each other only by a cardinal number, their rank within the group as assigned by "The Chief", number one. The Chief is an arrogant, sadistic pseudo-intellectual who needs to show his power and dominance over the other four in whatever means possible.      prica o coveku i moru, ispricana u isti mah neobuzdano i dirljivo, divlje i nezno, 
    sa dubokom Mishiminom senzibilnoscu, noseci duh prefinjenosti ovog izuzetnog 
    japanskog pisca. To je hemingvejevska saga o moru - paraboli beskraja ljudske duše.

    Jim Cameron je introvertni mornar sanjalica, koji sebe smatra predodredjenim da postane
    "neko veliki". Medjutim, kada u luckom gradu Jokohami sretne mladu udovicu Anne,
    pocinje da biva razdiran izmedju konradovske ljubavi za siroko more i ljubavi prema lepoj,  
    a uz to i uspesnoj, poslovnoj zeni.Ako napusti svoj mornarski zivot ostavice iza sebe sve ono 
    sto je dotle smatrao vrednim - hrabrost, odlucnost, slobodu. 
    S druge strane, shvata da more nikada ne može zadovoljiti njegovu ceznju za romanticnom ljubavi.

    Na prvi pogled reklo bi se da je "Mornar koji je izneverio more" obicna prica o coveku i zeni
    koji se zaljubljuju jedno u drugo, kao i o decaku-pubertetliji koji se bori sa svojim komplikovanim
    osecanjima prema potencijalnom ocuhu. U jednom trenutku njih troje se nalaze na putu da formiraju
    "savrsenu nesavrsenu porodicu", da bi se uskoro pokazalo da ona nece moci da funkcionise.
