Sedam godina nakon zanimljivog i bizarnog Sci-Fi horora Xtro redatelj Harry Bromley Davenport odlučio se za snimanje nastavka. Dotični je na neki način zadržao prava na ime Xtro, ali nije smio nastaviti istu priču tako da je Xtro II: The Second Encounter potpuno neovisan o “svojoj” jedinici.

u drugu dimenziju. Tri interdimenzionalna putnika prolaze kroz portal, ali ubrzo ih napada
nešto što prekida vezu sa kontrolnom sobom. To užasno nešto koristi portal da se vrati u
podzemni kompleks. Većina osoblja je evakuisana, osim četiri teško naoružana vojnika,
Dr. Casserlyja i Dr. Summerfielda koji se ne podnose...
