Opis:

Ellie Andrews, hčerka premožnega teksaškega lastnika ranča, je zaljubljena v Ballarina, za katerega je več kot očitno, da ga zanima le njen denar. Toda Ellie se vseeno namerava z njim poročiti. Da bi preprečil poroko, gospod Andrews nazadnje hčerko celo ugrabi. Ellie se odloči, da bo pobegnila, pri tem pa zbudi pozornost policistov in novinarjev. Med novinarji izstopa Peter Warne, ki je prepričan, da je na sledi novinarski zgodbi leta. Pri tem pa seveda ne računa na to, da se bo v Ellie do ušes zaljubil.
