Soupçons (2004)

U prosincu 2001. godine u domu obitelji Peterson iz mjesta Durham u Sjevernoj Karolini dogodila se strašna tragedija. Michael i Kathleen Peterson te su noći gledali televiziju, potom su otišli na dvorište pokraj bazena popiti još čašu vina, a nakon što je Kathleen ušla u kuću Michael je zadrijemao na ležaljci. Nakon što se koji sat kasnije probudio i ušao u kuću, imao je što za vidjeti. Kathleen je ležala mrtva u lokvi krvi na dnu stepeništa. Vijetnamski veteran i ugledni pisac odmah je nazvao hitnu pomoć i panično ih je obavijestio o nesreći, a već koji dan poslije Peterson je optužen da je hladnokrvno ubio svoju suprugu s kojom je do tada imao naizgled idiličan život. Strpan je čovjek u zatvor, ubrzo je pušten uz jamčevinu od 850 tisuća dolara, no bio je to tek početak pravosudne bitke koja je potrajala čak 15 godina.[gambee82.blogspot]
